The Bobcats qualified for the 2010 NCAA Tournament with a win in Cleveland, and will continue their season in Providence.
Announced on CBS' Selection Special tonight, Ohio has drawn the No. 14 seed and will play No. 3 seed Georgetown on Thursday.
The game will be played in Providence, R.I., and is the Bobcats' first NCAA tournament game since 2005.
A gathering of Bobcat fans, coaches, players and supporters watched the show in the Baker Center ballroom after a welcoming party for the team. Coach John Groce and senior center Kenneth van Kempen addressed the crowd and thanked fans and families for supporting the team throughout a season with many ups and downs.
That fight song never gets old
Groce said with a smile before speaking.
The Bobcats will play in the same regional as Ohio State and Michigan State, who each earned top-five seeds.
