It was a good win against a good opponent that seldom loses at home and it was a good win because of the way it transpired; we had some adversity in the game
we hung in there and fought and ran the ball really effectively in the fourth quarter Temple coach Al Golden said.
Vince Murray led the Midshipmen ground pound with 115 on 33 carries. He put six points on the board for Navy's losing effort.
It was not a game for fans that like a lot of passing yards. Temple had 37 yards passing, and Navy had 27.

We played a very very good Boston College team who right now is in first place in their division
said Chippewas coach Butch Jones. Defensively
we played really well in the first half except for the last possession. Offensively
I thought we just struggled to find a rhythm.
Boston College scored 17 points in the 3rd quarter to seal the win. Central Michigan(7-2, 5-0 MAC) still leads the MAC West.
