This letter is sent to endorse Will Klatt for president of Student Senate. Will is an honest and hardworking person who has worked tirelessly for the betterment of Ohio University. Will believes that students should have an important role in decision making at this university, and I agree. He has been a true friend of Union Local 1699 and believes that the administration should treat their employees with dignity, respect and justice. He has worked to build a coalition of students, faculty and staff who believe in shared governance at Ohio University. He and I agree that the health, safety and welfare of our students should be our number one priority.
His vice presidential candidate is an Athens area resident who I have known for many years. John Calhoun has been a trusted family friend who has been active in local and national politics. John is also a hardworking person who will make a positive contribution to Ohio University.
