Academy Antics
Ben Stiller dressing up as Joaquin Phoenix at the Academy Awards was fabulous. It was so convincing, I literally thought it was the Walk The Line leading man for a second. If retiring from acting means growing a big, grizzly man beard and putting out a hip-hop album, then I don't condone it. Although it sure helped Letterman get a laugh.

17 Again (dir. Burr Steers)
For those of you with a Zac Efron and Matthew Perry obsession, plan for a trip to the movies theater on April 17 because the two are finally merging their talents. In the film, Zac Efron plays Mike, a high school basketball star who gives up his bright future to take care of his girlfriend and their new baby. Twenty years later, Mike (now Matthew Perry) regrets the decisions he made and wishes to go back in time. Oh yeah, be excited.

Boomerang by Mae
The second song in a 12-month project from this Virginian band gives me hope that this band, despite losing two members, can still make great music. The band is recording and selling one song a month for $1 and then donating the money to various charities. As if the cause wasn't enough, the music is some of the best the group has ever recorded.
