Because of coach Frank Solich's involvement in Ohio's search for a new athletic director, the Ohio football team will not open spring practice today. Instead, the Bobcats will kick off their first of 15 spring sessions Wednesday.
The Bobcats will practice three to four times a week for a total of 15, the maximum amount allowed by NCAA regulations. Today's missed practice will be made up April 28 ' two days after the Green and White game.
All practices will be held in Peden Stadium and are closed to the public.
Ohio comes off of a 6-6 season in which they finished fourth in the Mid-American Conference East Division.
