An unfinished agenda and an executive session lasting more than an hour last night summed up the Nelsonville City Council meeting.
City Council President Clinton Stanley adjourned last night's meeting without completing the agenda for the evening after discussing police personnel and pending litigation. Council voted to reconvene in a special meeting Thursday at 8 p.m. to complete the scheduled agenda items. Stanley said the meeting was changed so Garry Hunter, the city attorney, could be present. Hunter was reportedly in Washington, D.C. for business and was absent from last night's meeting.
Stanley said Thursday's meeting will include an executive session for matters involving police personnel and the city manager's office.
