Woman assaulted in Bromley Hall parking lot, police say

A woman told police that two men threw her to the ground and kicked her early Monday morning, according to a crime alert from the Ohio University Police Department.

The alert describes one man as a skinny, white college-aged male with a tattoo on his left wrist and dark hair that is shorter on the side. He was wearing a dark, short-sleeved shirt, khaki pants and clean white shoes, according to the alert.

The alert describes the other suspect as a skinny, short, “black or possibly multiracial” man with light skin and wavy black hair. According to the alert, he was wearing blue jeans, clean light blue tennis shoes and a gold chain.

The woman said the incident began when the two men had a brief conversation with her at about 1:15 a.m. in the Bromley Hall parking lot.

The white man threw her to the ground and kicked her, she said. She fought the two men off, and they ran away. She suffered minor injuries.

OUPD is investigating the incident. The department asks anyone with information to contact it at 740-593-1911 or make anonymous tips to Crime Solvers Anonymous at 740-594-3331.
