Students intimidated by long lines and transportation for Four Fest now have a free and decidedly closer music alternative.
The event, described by organizer Kyle Kurz as a community concert rock fest
is being sponsored by Off-Campus Living and will take place tomorrow in Kurz's backyard on 43 E. Stimson Ave. across from the KFC.
Free grill-out style food will be served beginning at noon. There will be an array of bands performing from 1 to 10 p.m.
We expect a good amount of people to come Kurz said, adding that publicity with fliers and Facebook should contribute to a large turnout. I understand that with ... Four Fest this weekend a lot of people will be partying
but I just hope that people will want to come out
hear some music and have a good time.
The bands performing range in genre from punk to rock. Slated to make an appearance are Jake Householder, The Nothings from Nowhere, Kaslo, Bananarchy, Shineout Libretto, Alan Degenhart and Jordan Hermiller, Le Vansona, Doomascus and the Victor Rasgaitis band.
