A sniff-sensitive dog from the Vinton County Sheriff's Office is assisting local authorities in the continued search for 84-year-old Denzle Stanley.
The search, which was temporarily called off Friday, resumed yesterday, said Athens County Sheriff Patrick Kelly on his Facebook page.
Stanley, who has been missing since Jan. 5, was last seen near Baker Road in Lee Township.
As with dogs used previously
the concentration is focused on the area where the K-9 is picking up Denzle's scent Kelly said via his Facebook post.
Authorities still ask anyone with information about Stanley's whereabouts to call 593-6633.
