To my fellow Ohio University Students,
I am sure you have all been witnessing campaigning for the Student Senate election that will take place today. Knowing that you will be voting, you will have the opportunity to vote for me, Kelsey Hastings, as your College of Education Senator. I am a freshman here at Ohio University, enrolled in the Connavino Honors Track for the College of Education, an employee at the Ohio University Aquatic Center, an active member of Student Senate as an intern, and a proud member of the iOU ticket. I am a strong advocate for bettering the College of Education, which in turn will better the University. The College of Education has a unique set of needs, which I hope to address during my time in office. My platform has four different aspects that I wish to address when it comes to bettering the CoE: Making sure that students have a positive first-year experience; continuing support for upper-class students; having a quality overall experience; and enacting effective communication and collaboration through the college. I plan to accomplish this with the help of YOUR voice. It would be my pleasure and duty to serve you as the College of Education Senator and please do not forget to vote TODAY!
