Retro is really in this spring

Fashions from the '70s and '80s are popular this spring, Stout said. Many Ohio University students are wearing past fashions such as wayfarer sunglasses, boat shoes and leggings. Barbara Stout, owner of Athens Underground, 90 N. Court St., has been in the vintage clothing business for 30 years and has seen many fashion trends come and go.

I like all the '80s trends that are coming back. I think they're cute

said Katie Bingle, a freshman studying early childhood education.

The '60s and '70s are also being relived in many students' wardrobes on campus.

flowy dresses are also very popular right now

Crist said. All these styles are associated with the '60s era.

With old clothing styles becoming popular again, students are wearing trends their parents once wore.

I wish my mom would have saved a bunch of her old clothing because I feel like I would wear it now
