More than three weeks after Sandra Inman pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity for the kidnapping and eventual death of her daughter-in-law, she allegedly attempted to commit suicide Wednesday.
Inman, who is currently being held in Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail, jumped off the second tier in her female housing unit Wednesday and was transported to Doctors Hospital for treatment, according to jail news release.
She was released back into the custody of the jail, according to the release.
In March, Summer Inman of Logan was found dead in a septic tank. While Summer Inman’s estranged husband and father-in-law pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, kidnapping, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse, Sandra Inman’s charges were not presented due to her insanity plea.
