The Ohio University Police Department issued a crime alert Thursday after a man allegedly masturbated in public Wednesday night.
The incident took place at about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a female OU student reported seeing a naked college-aged male hiding in the bushes at Emeriti Park, according to the crime alert.
The student reported the man looked at her while he masturbated. Then he grabbed his clothes and walked off into the night while she dialed 9-1-1, according to the alert.
The suspect — wanted for public indecency — is described as white and about six-feet tall, with light brown hair and of average build.
