After 37 years of teaching at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, an Ohio University professor will apply the rules of the classroom to her recently created administrative position.
Dru Riley Evarts began her appointment this week as university editor, putting teaching aside for the time being. As of late she has primarily taught Communication Law and Precision Language, the latter of which she created in the late 1980s. Throughout her career she has taught many other journalism courses, such as News Writing and Review and Criticism.
