Laughin' Athens: Improv group returned with Thursday show

Last Thursday night laughter could be heard all the way down the hall from Bentley 124. The source? The Ohio University Improv groups Black Sheep Inc. and Six to Midnight hosting their weekly Thursday night show.

As the evening progressed the members’ spontaneous hilarity shocked, surprised, and gratified spectators as scenes began to reveal themselves.

Skits ranged in topics including Harry Potter, Albinos, Smurfs, and Snookie from Jersey Shore. As a result the audiences’ jeers continually filled the room.

The space was overflowing with guests, implying that Ohio University’s Improv groups need a bigger stage.

With a chalkboard literally full of ideas, onlookers can expect to see everyday experiences with a new twist that ultimately bring a new meaning to laugh out loud.

The troupes and their keen eyes for randomly funny skits can be found the same place and time next week. Bentley Hall, room 124, at 8p.m,Thursday nights. It’s not to be missed.
