The LGBT Center along with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host two additional meetings involving the candidates for the position of LGBT Center director.
The candidates, Cael Keegan, visiting assistant professor of queer studies at The Evergreen State College and Deborah Kuzawa, an Ohio University graduate and Ph. D. candidate in English at The Ohio State University, will participate in talk back sessions and meetings with LGBTA students and community members Feb. 11 and 14, respectively.
The sessions are part of the center’s efforts to include the community in the search for the new director, following former director Mickey Hart’s departure after receiving a job offer as the director of Residence Life at the Columbus College of Art and Design.
“As the LGBT Center narrows down its search for LGBT Center Director position, we would like to have input and opinions from students, staff, and faculty to help us make the best decision,” the center said in a press release.
Copies of each candidate's cover letter and resume will be available in the LGBT and Women's Centers.
