THRIVE is hosting a creative coping cafe in Lindley Hall from 11 a.m. to noon. Students are invited to stop by and practice arts-based coping skills, though other coping skills are also welcome.

Author Nancy Manring is speaking in Alden Library, room 319, at 5:30 p.m. as part of the Authors @ Alden series. The public is invited to hear her speak about her book, “A World of Wounds: Rebuilding a Bipartisan Environmental Movement and Cultivating Authentic Hope,” which is followed by a Q&A.

The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service is offering an introduction to hand sewing workshop in Alden Library, room 319, from 6-7:30 p.m. The workshop covers hand sewing basics, patching and mending for beginners. Supplies are provided.

The Ohio University English Department is organizing the 40th annual Spring Literary Festival starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Walter Hall Rotunda with a lecture followed by a reading at 8:30 p.m. The festival continues on Thursday with lectures at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., and readings at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 26
The Alumni Association is hosting a Meal with a Mentor from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Latitude 39 on the first floor of Baker Center. OU students are invited to join Ayman Elbarbary, an associate instructor at Indiana University and an OU master’s degree program graduate, for a meal and discussion of career advice.

The Movement Organization and Athens Black Contemporary Dancers are performing their 2026 collaborative dance concert at 7 p.m. in the Shirley Wimmer Dance Theater in Putnam Hall. They are also performing Friday at 7 p.m.
Admission: $10 general admission, $5 for OU students with a valid Bobcat ID

Culinary Services and Dining is putting on the annual Jeff Fest! from 1-3 p.m. in Jefferson Marketplace. There will be sampling, games, prizes and giveaways.

Saturday, March 28
The Outdoor Recreation Council of Appalachia is hosting a guided hike from 1-3 p.m on the Wayne National Forest's Baileys Trail System. The group is meeting at Chauncey-Dover Trailhead Park, 8433 West Bailey Road, for a 1.5-mile hike.

The Singing Men of Ohio is hosting a concert at 2:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 2 S. College St. The concert features both current members and alumni.

The Small Things, a Blink-182 tribute band, is performing at The Union, 18 W. Union St. The doors open at 8 p.m. with music starting at 9 p.m. The performance also has special guest Mind the Drive.
Admission: $8 for ages 21 and older, $11 for ages 18 to 20
Sunday, March 29
The Athena is showing two documentaries as part of Ohio Goes to The Movies. There is a reception with the filmmaker beforehand from 6-7 p.m. The screenings start at 7 p.m.
