Women who have the ability to gab can put that trait to good use at the Women's Center Brown Bag discussion series.
The hour-long discussions take place every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in the Women's Center, Baker University Center, room 403. Participants can bring their own lunches to enjoy during the discussions.
These are issues that people either have more information on or are curious about
said Marlene Jenkins, administrative assistant in the Women's Center.
The goal of the open discussion is to raise awareness for the various issues that women face, Jenkins said.
Today's talk, titled Can Men Be Feminists?, will be moderated by Brittany Buxton, Graduate Student Senate Women's Affairs Commissioner.
The talks are free and open to the public. In previous weeks, the majority of attendees have been women, but anyone is welcome. 17
