President Barack Obama made a stop in Columbus, Ohio, yesterday to talk jobs and the economy at Fort Hayes. The atmosphere had a campaign feel to it, as a crowd of about 3,000 began chants of, “pass this bill” after he discussed the American Jobs Act. Obama is seeking to keep the nucleus of student voters alive in Ohio, after it played a crucial role in the 2008 election outcome.
