After Becky Watts announced her departure last week, Ohio University’s President Roderick McDavis has decided to replace her with an internal candidate.
Watts, who served as McDavis’ chief of staff for five years and made $124,962 per year, will go to Ohio’s Board of Regents at the end of May.
A committee will serach for Watts' replacement, headed by Eric Burchard, OU’s director of government relations. Members of that committee will include Renea Morris, executive director of university communications and marketing and Tom Davis, Board of Trustees secretary, according to a statement from OU.
