The Ohio baseball team is set to face Bowling Green today in a day-night doubleheader as a result of Thursday night's series-opener being rained out.
Ohio (19-25, 11-13 Mid-American Conference), ineligible for the MAC Tournament for the third season in a row, kicks off its last series of the season against the Falcons (26-24, 11-13 MAC) in a battle for third-place in the MAC East Division.
Saturday's 1 p.m. contest will mark not only the end of Ohio's 2006 campaign but also the end of the collegiate careers for seniors Anthony Gressick, Yale Silverman and Derek Witt.
Gressick and Witt have been Ohio's top starters the past two seasons while Silverman has been clutch as a spot starter and bullpen reliever.
Tonight's doubleheader between the Bobcats and Falcons starts at 4 p.m. at Bob Wren Stadium.
