I really love being here at Ohio University. The people are nice, I like my professors, and I love being on campus.
I do have one major problem with a system on campus, though. I cannot get into the classes that I need to take during the quarters that I need to take them. There are never enough offerings of a class or it is not offered at the time I need it. I know from talking to people in my classes and to my friends on campus that this is a widespread problem that could use some attention.
Another problem with scheduling that I have discovered is being shut out of supposedly open classes because my Internet connection is slower than the people with whom I am waging a scheduling war. I am simply out of luck because my Internet connection is not quite up to speed.
I think this is a serious problem that the university should try to alleviate. It is frustrating for students of any level that have to face the Sorry
We're Closed sign on a much-needed class.
