Donte Harden isn't one to talk about himself.
After a breakout performance last weekend against Ohio State, in which he rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown, the running back was not keen to discuss his performance.
I really don't want to answer any Ohio State questions
Harden said when asked about his game against the Buckeyes. I just really don't want to talk about it.
Someone who was willing to speak on his behalf was coach Frank Solich. He said he was impressed with how the redshirt freshman handled the environment and defense at Ohio State and added that he sees a lot of potential in Harden.
- Solich said. He's young with not a lot of game experience
but I thought he handled the position well when we threw him in.
While he did not want to dwell on his 5.7-yard-per-carry-average, Harden did say the game helped the Bobcat offense.
I feel as if it made our whole offense confident actually
he said. It built up my confidence and made me look forward to the games to come.
Of the four running backs '-
Harden said. They know all of us here have special abilities and if one of us gets the opportunity it's going to show.
