Ohio University Police and the Ohio Investigative Unit arrested and cited 33 people during Saturday’s High Fest, with undercover agents from the unit making 21 arrests.
The investigative unit, a branch of the state Department of Public Safety, arrested 21 individuals on 30 charges, said Eric Wolf, an administrative agent with the unit.
The charges included underage drinking, false identification, obstructing official business, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, there was one felony drug arrest, although Wolf said he could not provide any additional information at this time because the unit is awaiting analysis on the drugs from their lab.
He added the undercover agents did not make any additional arrests at the uptown bars. During the weekend of Mill Fest, agents arrested 16 at the bars uptown.
OUPD arrested 12 individuals on alcohol and disorderly conduct charges at the fest, according to the department’s police log.
