Torrie Albini's goal at the 8:37 mark of the second overtime gave No. 15 Ohio a 3-2 victory over No. 14 American in today's play-in game for the NCAA Tournament.
It was Albini's second score of the game. She scored at the 21:10 mark of the first half to give the Bobcats a 2-1 lead.
Katelyn Shelley opened the scoring with a goal in the third minute of the game. The Eagles responded with a goal from Maggie Hall off a penalty corner.
American tallied the only goal of the second half on Savannah Graybill's score early in the second half.
Ohio goalkeeper Jessie Martin made four saves in the victory.
The Bobcats will face Michigan (15-6) in the round of 16 at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Ann Arbor bracket includes Wake Forest and Michigan State, who have both beaten the Bobcats this year.
