In bars, houses and apartments, Athens watched as President Obama announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed by U.S. special forces late Sunday night.
After the President's televised announcement, many who live close to Court Street celebrated with drinks at bars, patriotic chants and cheers and a handful of American flags.
