James Hall, 37, was granted a continuance today by Judge Ward due to
inadequate time to review the plea deal offered to him by the Athens
County Prosecutors Office.
Hall is charged with 10 counts of receiving stolen property, four
counts of identity fraud, 12 counts of forgery, two counts of misuse
of credit cards, possessing criminal tools and engaging in a pattern
of corrupt activity.
The continuance was requested by the defense who said, due to the
number of charges lobbied, not enough time was allowed to go over the
deal.
Hall, who was brought to the South Eastern Ohio Regional Jail on Dec.
27, will remain there until the resolution of his case.
The date of his next trial is to be determined.
