A former Ohio University student’s father is suing O’Bleness Memorial Hospital for $3 million over the death of his daughter in 2010.
Cleveland Heights resident Joseph Robinson’s daughter, Andrea, passed away after developing a case of meningitis.
Robinson filed the lawsuit accusing O’Bleness of allegedly failing to treat and provide necessary care for his daughter, which the defendants say is not true.
Defendants include Dr. Gwendolyn Millesen, Team Health Partnership Inc., Sheltering Arms Hospital Foundation Inc., nurse Marilyn Lewis and Life Ambulance Service Inc. employees Mike Fletcher and Ralph Ball, according to the court docket.
The case will be taken to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Columbus, Ohio on April 1.
