Don't count on Chipotle delivering in Athens this fall.
Good morning. Here's what you need to know for Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015:
Heartbreaking. Tragic. Unfair.
Those are all words that could be used to describe some news that broke Tuesday: Ohio University is not among the 40 college campuses that will have access to a new Chipotle delivery service this fall.
The burrito goliath announced yesterday it has entered into a partnership with the delivery service Tapingo to bring burrito bowls directly to students’ dorms.
Ohio State and Cleveland State are among the chosen ones. Chipotle announced it would continue expanding the service in the spring, but a list of potential new campuses is not yet available.
That leaves plenty of time for some enterprising OU students to fire up a Change.org petition or start a Kickstarter campaign. We anxiously await the results.
