I would like to respond to the column by Olivia Young that appeared in The Post Tuesday, May 22.
We are the staff and owners of Lamborn's Studio and Custom Framing. Our parking lot was mentioned as one of the spaces that has a vending buggy.
We would like everyone to know that although we have our name on a sign in that lot, we are not the owners of the lot and we did not want or give permission for the owners of the lot to rent part of our space to the vending buggy.
We have been renters of this parking lot for 22 years with no problems. We couldn't agree more with the article because the 24/7 placement of this particular buggy not only highly affects our ability to do business, but all of the food businesses that are our neighbors as well. We appreciate the opportunity to make it clear that we do not approve or benefit from this placement.
Thank you for addressing the problem, as we have been reluctant to bring it to light in fear of losing what spaces we still have.
Christine Tom and the staff and owners of Lamborn's Studio and Custom Framing.
