Bats, termites, water problems and faulty alarms recently caused the exodus of offices from Pilcher House.
The building housed offices for Faculty Senate, University Curriculum Council and Legal Affairs.
Faculty Senate's base has moved to the Faculty Commons on the third floor of Alden Library.
Faculty Senate Chairman Joe McLaughlin said he is happy with the move to the space in Alden, which offers several conference rooms for senate committees to meet.
“I think the library, symbolically, is a good place for us, the senate, to be,” he said.
