Mothdom is an all female band from Ohio University. November 22, they played at Big Run Kava Bar on Court St., with local musician, Brandon Jackson, playing alongside them. When you are an education major, you must complete hours in a classroom to gain hands-on experience before entering the field. Unpaid hours (a whole other issue) turn you from a student to a full-time teacher. As a part of the CARE program, which allows me over 200 hours of experience starting sophomore year, I have gained valuable information that I will take with me for the rest of my life.

For many; however, some of the only places to acquire houseplants are big-box stores such as Walmart and Lowe's. Oftentimes, the plants purchased in this way have been meticulously grown and pruned to be perfect.
It’s a Monday morning and there’s a breeze filling the air. A cup of coffee sounds great after having a rough start to the day. This now means there is a decision to be made: buy coffee or save money. Purchasing coffee might seem like the wrong choice; however, stopping and spending some money on a good drink is sometimes worth it because of the excitement and joy it can bring. Taking a trip to a cafe can also be a whole experience or a way to make school work more enjoyable.
