Local journalism, especially in the wake of disaster, is largely valued by the communities it exists in and provides information people otherwise wouldn’t have access to.

Although The Post is independent, it would not be able to exist in the capacity it does without the support, guidance and education provided by the faculty of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.
