Bringing the outside indoors may have many positive effects. Having plants around the house can be a form of decoration, a mood booster and can have multiple health benefits. They can also teach certain levels of responsibility when caring for another form of life.

In November 2023, former RIIZE member Hong Seunghan became the center of K-pop controversies after private pictures of him kissing a girl were leaked to the public. As Hurricane Helene destroyed neighborhoods in North Carolina in September, the public gained a much-needed awareness of how crucial local journalists are to their communities. Local journalism, especially in the wake of disaster, is largely valued by the communities it exists in and provides information people otherwise wouldn’t have access to.
