Many have discussed the countless things making Steven Universe unique, but the color scheme is one you won’t hear about as much — it’s one you have to see. Steven Universe, of course, is unafraid of facing color head-on as a concept. The names of the characters are, after all, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Ruby, all of them dressing after the color of their respective gems. As technology increases, culture changes. Within just the past 50 years, technology has changed and developed so rapidly that culture has barely had the chance to catch up at points. We have now arrived at a place in time where the President of the United States primarily uses Twitter to reach his fans, followers and other users of the site.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Recent Pepsi advertisements of Kylie Jenner solving our country’s problem of difficulties with the police force and unity have made their way through Twitter, reaching unprecedented support and virality. The advertisements have been received extremely well, along with solving many of the nation’s pressing issues.

The Wall Street Journal has lashed out toward YouTube and its users once again, but this time, instead of focusing on tearing down one content creator, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, the news reporting publication has gone after the website itself and its advertising policies. In a recent WSJ article about YouTube advertising on racist videos, WSJ acted suspiciously and pulled out examples from videos that made little to no money. h3h3productions discusses that article in great detail, but be warned, multiple slurs will be shown onscreen.

About five months ago, Twitter announced it will be disabling uploads on Vine. Moving forward, the Vine app was eventually changed to Vine Camera, allowing videos to be posted directly to Twitter or saved to the camera roll. This change was met to the dismay of many who enjoyed the unique, fast-paced and typically comedic nature of Vines.

Incessant rants about events that may or may not have occurred have become a popular way to create content on YouTube. Whether it’s the recently controversial Tana Mongeau, the somewhat controversial and very loud Logan Paul, or other, smaller YouTubers, such as Nikki Glamour or Channon Rose, videos telling stories about what happened to the YouTuber have been garnering hundreds of thousands — or in the case of Tana, often millions — of views, along with strengthening the audience of each respective content creator.

I, for one, have finally disabled AdBlock Plus for YouTube. It has been far too long, but I, a fervent advertisement hater, as I’m sure many of you are, have finally done it — and I recommend you do, too.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After big mistakes with Steve Harvey’s hosting performance on Miss Universe and now The Oscars with giving Best Picture to La La Land at first instead of Moonlight , the United States election has announced its massive blunder that has sent a sigh of relief throughout many Americans. In a wonky and thrilling accident, Donald Trump, the reality TV personality and billionaire CEO, was announced as the President of the United States instead of previous Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The media have generally never cared about YouTubers, streamers or independent online personalities of other sorts. The most they will discuss these people usually is how much they make and how shocking it is that they make this much — I can’t say that I haven’t written on the topic.

I would like to begin by saying that, no, this is not a popular opinion. I’m not going into this for the attention, and I’m not doing this to start a fire — I just want to present you all with a perspective that hasn’t been talked about much, if at all, over the course of the election.

On Dec. 21, 2012, the world watched in awe as a YouTube video surpassed a billion views for the first time in video history. Spring break is less than a month away for many, and, as everyone knows, it’s the time of year where everyone goes out with a group of friends and does something crazy. Whether it’s going to Honolulu or something way less cool like playing video games. Keep in mind not everyone has the luxury of friends. For those of you out there who are so incredibly alone and bored that you somehow wandered to this page or perhaps you were linked here because of how much of a loser you are that someone just had to send this to you out of utter distaste, we’ve got you covered.

For whatever reason, it’s often appealing (if not simply curiosity-inducing) to find out someone’s salary. With celebrities or athletes, it’s even more interesting because of how much they make. Some might call it silly for someone who plays a sport to get paid so much — after all, they’re just playing a game, right? Yet somehow, Alex Rodriguez (with the popularized baseball nickname A-Rod) achieved an average salary over ten years of $27.5 million.
