In any other city, people go on bar crawls. But in Athens, students don’t crawl from bar to bar, begging for mercy. There’s a little more pep to it. It’s called a Court Street shuffle, and it’s finally the peak season for this strange tradition. As classes wrap up, designated organizations and majors will start suiting up for their own take on the Court Street shuffle.

In the 21st century, life is not like an episode of Sex and the City. After their full-time jobs, four women spend their weeknights and weekends going on dates with several men. And as I sit in my bed watching them get laid, I’m exhausted watching their back-breaking work to ultimately find a mate.

The Vatican dwellers face their fate in the season one finale of The Young Pope. Throughout the 10 episodes, our boy pope has become a man. And though Lenny’s claim of maturing is at the beginning of “Episode 10,” the entire episode spends time on walking us through Lenny’s symbolic journey to adulthood.

Lenny Belardo’s hardened persona is cracking. And the only thing to say is thank God, because it’s for the better. Love, an emotion Lenny tries so hard to portray, is creeping back into his world, and The Young Pope’s supporting characters are to thank for that.

Call it a Catholic thing, but Catholics are always guilty of something. The religion either preaches all-loving rhetoric or bothers parishioners with the constant worry of sin.

It’s no secret Voiello loves soccer. He has three iPhones and each has a case featuring a soccer player. He’s all decked out in a Napoli jersey with his name and the No. 1 on the back. However, his team, Napoli, which is probably where Voiello (Silvio Orlando) is from, apparently got destroyed. The announcer called it the worst game Napoli has played in history. He clutches his rosary in defeat.

What makes The Young Pope so estranged is no one can relate to it. It’s safe to say that a majority of those watching the show are not priests — Pope Francis is modern, but he would never. So all of us non-holy people who are watching the show have no idea what normally happens in the Vatican, not even practicing Roman Catholics.

We’re caught between two different men, both played by Jude Law, and it’s honestly hard to pick which one is better.

The Young Pope series challenges us on someone we consider to be an evil, manipulative person. In episode four, the blatant contrast between Lenny Belardo (Jude Law) and Cardinal Voiello (Silvio Orlando) tests viewers. The two men and their morals dance back and forth: Voiello keeps those inside the Vatican walls under his thumb in a manipulative way, but does so because it's "God's will" and will bring order back. Lenny continues to carry out traditionalist ideas, but still shares compassion with those around him.

In the Roman Catholic Church, it is believed the pope is infallible. The Young Pope’s Lenny Belardo is not only claiming divinity as pope, but with more wisdom and harshness than God while claiming he’s more handsome than Jesus Christ himself. It’s not enough for Belardo to get his way with those from the Vatican, but he wants power over God.

If you want an anti-hero who creates chaos that’s so bad it’s too good to watch, you’ll be disappointed with The Young Pope’s second episode.

The public has a popular opinion on villains. We pretend we don’t, but our taste in TV begs to differ. We’ve gone from cheering for Jed Bartlet to Frank Underwood for the White House all in the matter of a decade. Now, the premiere of HBO’s Limited Series The Young Pope reveals the public can stomach a little more corruption and sacrilege than ever before.
