Although Easter has come and gone, you probably still have a bunch of jelly beans left over from filling baskets and plastic eggs. Lucky for you, Monday is National Jelly Bean Day, and it’s time to celebrate. Here are a few ideas from Pinterest for creatively using what’s left of those jelly beans so they don’t go to waste:
On-Campus Farmer’s Market at 11 a.m. at Howard Park. Come stock up on fresh produce from local Athens vendors at the top of Jeff Hill. The event is sponsored by Ohio University Community Engagement Programs.

Spring Senior Dance Concert at 7 p.m. in the Shirley Wimmer Dance Theatre in Putnam Hall. Come see senior dance majors perform their capstone projects. There will be a second show at 9 p.m. Friday, and the dancers will also perform a matinee show Saturday at 1 p.m.
International Acoustic Night at 6 p.m. at Donkey Coffee and Espresso, 17 1/2 W. Washington St. Enjoy diverse acoustic sets performed by musicians from all over the world.

Cat’s Pajamas Clothing Exchange at 5:30 p.m. at ARTS/West, 132 W. State St. Looking to update your wardrobe? Attend this clothing exchange to swap out last year’s clothing for some fresh, new pieces to benefit ARTS/West. This event will also take place Saturday at 10 a.m.
Pickle Fest at 4 p.m. at Bagel Street Deli, 27 S. Court St. Come watch the madness as 48 contestants inhale dill pickles. The winner will receive a T-shirt and their own custom bagel added to Bagel Street’s menu, and all proceeds raised from the event will go to a charity of their choice.

March Madness Show at 8 p.m. at Athens Uncorked, 14 Station St. See all of the Uncorked Dolls in this month’s drag show. Music will be provided by DJ Biggie, and a special cocktail will be available.

Holly Down in Heaven at 8 p.m. in the Elizabeth Evans Baker Theater in Kantner Hall. See Holly, a pregnant 15-year-old, transition from child to adult in this dark comedic play performed by the Ohio University Theater Division. The show will also be performed on Saturday.
