It’s the first year NHL players will be competing at the Olympics since the 2014 Winter Olympics. While this will undoubtedly increase the competition and game play between all countries, the gold medal game will come down to Canada versus the United States. Team USA may be powerful, but in the end, they will once again fall to Canada.

Earthquakes have increased over the past few years in the state of Ohio, according to entries from an Ohio Earthquake database. There were 213 earthquakes reported in Ohio in 2025 and 129 earthquakes reported in 2024. As of Feb. 9, there were nine so far for the new year.

Ohio (13-9 overall) found itself in the midst of a high-scoring interconference game against Old Dominion. The Bobcats lost this one 84-76 as the game came down to the wire. It is no secret Ohio has struggled in the paint to get rebounds this season, and before the game, it looked like that problem was going to be exploited by Old Dominion.
