Jane Goodall was not only revolutionary to science. She helped establish kindness in the scientific field. Goodall died Oct. 1 as a renowned humanitarian, environmentalist, peacemaker and conservationist. Her work involved the genetic relation between chimpanzees and humans and opened up the world to groundbreaking discoveries, which forever changed science. The world needs to continue her legacy, especially during the growing climate crisis.

The way in which people consume music has changed drastically over the past century. In the 1970s, vinyl records and 8-track players dominated the music medium. In the 1980s, it was cassette tapes and boomboxes. The 1990s saw the mass production of CDs, Walkmans and music channels like MTV.

The couple has been together for almost two years, but has known each other for nearly a decade. Blanco produced two of Gomez’s hits in 2015 and 2016.

On Sept. 29, video game company Electronic Arts announced in a press release it had agreed to an all-cash acquisition deal valued at $55 billion. According to the release, EA is to be acquired by a consortium of three investment firms consisting of Silver Lake, Public Investment Fund and Affinity Partners.

Last week, “Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2” hit store shelves in the form of rereleases on Nintendo Switch. These two beloved Wii games from 2007 and 2010 are some of the most praised games from the system and era, hence why they were renewed for a new audience. However, these titles come at a staggering cost that illuminates the money-first, audiences-second mentality that seems to be pushed by Nintendo and many other video game publishers.

As the reputation of the venue is so high, artists often treat a sold-out show at MSG as a massive career milestone. The city of Athens is leading a project to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. In February 2020, the Athens City Council passed a resolution that declared a climate emergency and expressed the city’s intention of limiting carbon emissions and becoming more energy conscious.
