A piece of tile on a plaque that says "Hitler stood here" is going to be on display in Alden Library's Ryan Room. It was a gift from WWII war correspondent and famous news anchor Walter Cronkite to his friend Cornelius Ryan who also reported on the war. He sent him a note that says it is from Hitler's bunker. The authenticity of the tile is disputed because the note is the only evidence of it being from the bunker. People working on the Ryan Room describe it as a fun object and hope it brings people to view everything else on display. That includes questionnaires from the war and other war artifacts. They hope to open by the end of the semester or by June 6 for the anniversary of D-Day. Video by: Donovan Hunt, Nicholas Kobe and Owen McDermott
