Ohio (2-12, 0-2 in the Mid-American Conference) returns to the Convo after nearly a month on the road for a two game set this weekend. Ohio will face off against Akron (7-6, 0-2 in the MAC) and Buffalo (3-8, 0-2 in the MAC). Ohio struggled mightily on its road trip, finishing with a record of 1-10 when playing on the road. Ohio also got off to a bad start in MAC play, as it dropped both games against Bowling Green and Toledo last weekend. Ohio does have a chance to right the ship though, as it is a much better 1-2 when playing at home because it is able to feed off of the energy that the fans bring to the Convo.

On Sept. 15, a 21-year-old Black man, Demartravion “Trey” Reed, was found hanging from a tree at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Reed’s death was immediately questioned by the public, and considering the disturbingly racist history in Mississippi, the public questioning wasn’t uncalled for.

This includes collaborations with the TV shows “Invincible” and “Arcane” during its second season. He also created the anthem for Fortnite.

The Athens Bulldogs (6-0) will return to Joe Burrow Stadium Friday after a 44-7 victory against Warren to take on the visiting Meigs Marauders (2-4) with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs remained undefeated, but in the case of Meigs, they recently lost to the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes 25-8.

Staff Sergeant Reckless was a horse and only two years old when the Korean War started. She saw her destiny of racing unravel as a soldier. Her most prestigious honors? Two Purple Hearts. She only lived to be 20, but she survives as a reminder of the costs of war.
