Rural Women’s Recovery gives hope, care to addicted women
Athens has had a busy start to 2017, and photographers from The Post have been there to cover all of it. We’ve photographed a lot of news, from protests, to water main breaks, to presidential goodbyes. We’ve also covered a lot of sports and a lot of features from the lives of people in and around Athens.
Over the past couple of weeks, Photoblog has been a place for Post photographers to discuss what they did over the summer and the work that they created. This week serves as a turning point. As we get further into the school year, our photographers have been creating more content for The Post, and we want to start talking about it.
Little Fish Brewing Company is a local microbrewery in Athens, Ohio, which opened in summer of 2015. Sean White and Jimmy Stockwell, cofounders of Little Fish, have been home brewing for years and decided it was time to make their hobby into a business. Their aim with the brewery is to create an atmosphere that is “uniquely Athens,” with a focus on using local ingredients and creating a taproom that can serve as a gathering place for community members and their families.
