Ohio picked up a solid 75-65 road win Wednesday night against Eastern Michigan. The win improved the Bobcats to 14-7 and 7-3 in the Mid American Conference. The Bobcats were pushed a few times throughout the game but led the entire time.

There was potential for movement among the teams in the Mid-American Conference this week, but most teams only cemented their spots from last week.
Ohio’s matchup with Central Michigan is the most important of the season. The Chippewas are undefeated in Mid-American Conference play and are the only team ahead of the Bobcats in the standings. An Ohio win on Saturday would make the conference race very interesting, while a Bobcat loss would most likely end all hopes of a MAC regular-season title.
It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win.
