After a 3-1 start to the season, Ohio DII Hockey sits at a 4-3 record on the season. With two shootout losses in its last two games, the first of which featured Ohio coming up short to Penn State last Saturday. The second of those came Thursday in its late-night matchup against Dayton, who entered the game 1-4.

By the fourth quarter of Saturday's game between Ohio and Miami, you could hear a pin drop inside Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium. Miami (7-2, 4-1 Mid-American conference) came to town looking to take sole possession of first place in the Mid-American Conference’s east division and left with a 30-16 win.

Ohio (6-8, 4-3 Mid-American Conference) lost in heartbreaking fashion against MAC No.1 Appalachian State (13-4, 6-1 MAC) 3-2 in overtime. Appalachian State was able to keep its number one seeding in the upcoming MAC tournament with its win while the Bobcats fell to fourth in the conference with the loss.

Ohio (5-7-5, 3-4-3 Mid-American Conference) hosted Akron (3-13-1, 1-8-1) at Chessa Field on Thursday. The matchup was the regular season's final match and MAC matchup before the playoffs began. Ohio still had a method of crashing the MAC tournament, but it needed to win while needing both Buffalo and Toledo to lose their respective matches.

Many students have known what they would dress up as for weeks, if not months, in anticipation of this long-awaited weekend. From pop culture sensations like Barbie to classic standbys such as angels and devils.

Among the numerous replies under every new blockbuster announced, I have noticed an increasing amount of disdain about the current variety of films being made.
