"I think that people realize that everyone has a right to free speech, but when you're in the position when you're representing other people you have to be more careful about what you say especially on big controversial things that are going on in the media and wars and everything like that... People in power have to realize the amounts of people that they're representing and not that they can just say whatever they want and it only reflects their views, it reflects everyone else's." - Melina Triffon, Freshman, Commercial Photography Major
"Megan didn't realize she was speaking for the university. She is the president, she should be considering everyone else. Obviously they realize that it's free speech, but she didn't have to reflect that. She's representing Ohio University." - Jenna Wallace, Freshman, Commercial Photography Major

"I think she does have the right to say whatever she wants, but she needs to know her boundaries because when she's in such a high position, she needs to think of others and think before she speaks." - Anna Ventre, Freshman, Commercial Photography Major
