University services partner, promote general wellness

Well-Being and Recreation and Counseling and Psychological Services partnered to create a new wellness space for students’ relaxation and recovery. The space, which is yet to be named, is expected to be unveiled at the beginning of the 2024 Fall Semester. In preparation for the space, the Ping Recreation Center is demoing three new pieces of equipment from Wellness Space Brands.


Q & A with Mary Beth Tinker

Mary Beth Tinker visited Ohio University on Wednesday night to tell her story about the Supreme Court case, Tinker v. Des Moines, which fought for students’ First Amendment rights within public schools. She also honored an OU alum who advocated for the First Amendment.

UAOU await university recognition for unionization

As OU faculty continue to fight for unionization, the university responded to UAOU’s letter March 7 indicating the request does not meet the minimum requirement outlined in the Ohio Revised Code. However, once the UAOU files a formal and complete request per the revised code, then the university will respond.
