Mohammed Al-Mashrafi was arrested for rape and abduction on Wednesday and is being held at Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond.
Mohammed Al-Mashrafi Nasser, 23, of Athens, was arrested by APD after an investigation.
It is believed the pitbulls stopped the suspect from entering the residence.
There are five men total accused of engaging in the trafficking in methamphetamine. One has already been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
