Columnist's remarks were exaggerated, tactless
Sep. 11, 2008I am writing about Ashley Herzog's column on the sexist attacks of Republicans. Her remarks were very exaggerated and based on a very small portion of what she refers to as liberals. Would it be a fair assumption to cite neo-Nazi websites as a conservative source? Should I cite Rush Limbaugh's bigoted remarks on Obama? As for the topic of sexism, how is it fair that when Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant, right wing pundits blame the parents for it, but when Bristol Palin gets pregnant at 17 out of wedlock, it is suddenly off limits? I think that this tactless column clearly skews what mainstream liberalism teaches. It would be much appreciated if, in the future, a fair view of either side were presented.
