Back to Bobcat Basics: New Year, New Wardrobe

The new year has come and a new semester is upon us. This winter, make sure you fill your closet with a few essentials that will help you look sharp and stay sharp.

1. Utility Jacket

This lightweight jacket is perfect for days that don’t call for a heavy coat, and a lifesaver when you’re cold in class. My favorite part about these jackets is the array of colors that they come in and their military-inspired edge. Forever 21 is a great place to find a selection of colors and styles.

2. Combat Boot

While we are on the subject of edgy, military styles, we all need a simple combat boot in the winter. They are practical for snowy weather and even more practical for an everyday outfit.

3. Beanie hat

The best of both worlds. Warmth without hat hair or creases. Try to get a couple of them in neutral colors so that you never have to worry about matching them to an outfit.

4. Scarves

Load up on them and try out different patterns and colors so it is easy to mix and match.

Whether your resolution is to start working out, socialize more or get better grades, one thing is for sure: You want to be the best you can be, which is hard to achieve without a great wardrobe.
