Ellis Dozier received his official release from Ohio University on Tuesday and will transfer at the end of the semester. He announced the news on his Instagram account.
Dozier, a forward, will have two years of eligibility left after his transfer. It's unknown where he will play basketball next.
From Sandy Spring, Maryland, Dozier played in 11 games last season and averaged less than just a point a game. He wasn't a part of the regular rotation this season, playing just three and a half minutes per game in his 11 appearances.
